Supplies

  • Tombow Dual Brush Pens
  • Tombow Irojiten Colored Pencils
  • Tombow Colorless Brush Blender Pen
  • Tombow Sand Eraser
  • Tombow MONO Drawing Pencils – 2B & F

Now that you take your supplies ready to go, we're going to get step by step with how to describe gems using markers and colored pencils to create beautiful shaded effects.

Pace 1:

Describe an oval with a permanent black pen (the Tombow MONO Twin Permanent Marker works great for this). Add the light Dual Brush Pen color, leaving a highlight at the lesser. Add together the darker Dual Brush Pen color in a crescent form.

Stride 3:

With the Irojiten Colored Pencils, soften the blend. Use the dark colour to deepen the crescent shadow at the meridian of the jewel. If needed, use the Sand Eraser to bring dorsum the highlight at the bottom of the jewel.
